I found this handcrafted Geisha in a little shop on Nakamise-dori in the Asakusa district of Tokyo. I depict her standing quietly within a blooming Japanese garden beneath cascading cherry blossoms. She is surrounded by still water and soft spring light, suggesting an offering not of objects, but of presence, grace, and quiet contemplation. Measures 5 X 6.5 X 3" and suitable for hanging.
