Located in the heart of Nara, Japan, Nara Park is famous for its hundreds of freely roaming deer, regarded as messengers of the gods in Japanese tradition. One of the most enchanting times to visit is during cherry blossom season, when delicate pink blooms transform the park into a sea of color. Inspired by my visit there, this miniature scene captures the gentle charm of the deer as they wander beneath the blossoms—curious, friendly, and always hopeful for a treat from passing visitors.  Measures 6.5 " X 5.5" X 1.5" and suitable for hanging.
